Welcome to the Shadow
The Moon is debilitated in Scorpio, and as we head into this Full Moon – which will astronomically sit between the heart of Scorpio (Antares) and the foot of Ophiuchus - you can find that emotions that can no longer be repressed are called to surface (particular in the 24 hours after the Moon peaks).
Astronomical Position of 11th of June Full Moon - between Scorpio + Orphuicus
In fact, this is a Full Moon that can offer you the light to come to see parts of your thinking that lay hidden within you, and yet dominate (in secret) the way you see your waking life. Know that this is a blessing, as in order for the transformative energy of this Full Moon to be available to you, it demands that you feel all that inner restriction, using it as a force which helps you invite parts of yourself home.
This Moon Gifts us with Sight
This Full Moon relates to the New Moon that peaked around the 12th-13th of December in 2023.
You can find that the last 18 months have been slowly unravelling an old identity that no longer serves you as you come to see the way you are perpetuating programming form your childhood, ancestry, past lives and society that does not serve you. This Full Moon can see you revealing to yourself what you have hidden, or haven’t been able to put your finger on that has been blocking the final part of this shift.
Know that this Full Moon marks the completion of a cycle, the ending of a consciousness that you have been working with and the slow inviting in of a new sense of awareness. There can be a struggle that takes place within you (or projected around you) 24 hours after the Full Moon peaks, so just be prepared to surrender to this tension. You can find it is calling for you to let go of old material attachments, stepping into greater responsibility for yourself – and at a societal level there can be a sense of sadness as well as hope for humanity.

Activating New Wisdom
This Full Moon falls in a lunar mansion known as Jyestha – the name of Lakshmi’s (forgotten) older sister. FYI Laksmi is the Goddess of Abundance in all its forms in Vedic Mythology.
It is an incredibly potent point in the sky as it is where the milky way and the zodiacal belt meet – in a spot in esoteric astrology called the Golden Gate. A place associated with endings, liberation, the death of old thinking, alchemy and shedding old identities.
Jyestha means ‘eldest’ and it is related to the wisdom you have accumulated over this Lunar Cycle through struggling with the parts of yourself you have sacrificed for others, that you have never been recognised for and even the places you feel ‘unseen’.
The Shakti of this Moon gives you the power to rise, conquer and gain courage in this inner battle between ‘thinking’ and what is ‘true’. Jyestha is often associated with misfortune in the Kali Yuga (through our own ignorance) – when in fact it is only through addressing our own inner poisons (which we feel through challenge + misfortune) that we can ever find inner liberation. Instead of fearing mishaps, mistakes and what seemly looks ‘wrong’, this is a Moon to see if you can understand how the idea there is something wrong with reality is just a disease of the mind.
A time of Wisdom
This Full Moon aligns with the Asteroid Shiva, and will be illuminated by Jupiter, as such this is a time when there can be a big shift the access you have to your inner wisdom. As Scorpio represents the underworld, it is through going within yourself and shining the light of awareness upon your own ignorance you find the ‘gold’ (wisdom) that lies within. This isn’t something scary, but actually something fundamental to liberation.
Shiva aids this process as he helps lift the veils of this inner ignorance – which can manifest as being able to see the thoughts you have that argue with reality and make life ‘tense’…these can also be the thoughts that have you always seeing people as either your ‘enemy’ or ‘friend’. Added to that Jupiter offers you the ability to see the gift in this underworld, this hidden thinking and these inner secrets. The way in which these are your teachers, and are the parts of yourself looking for your liberation (just in a slightly ‘off’ way).
