Arcturian Alignment 14-20th of October
When: Approximately 14th to the 20th of October
Once a year the sun moves into perfect alignment with the fixed Star Arcturus. Arcturus sits within the sign of Libra at 24’31 degrees - so the Arcturian alignment always occurs during Libra Season. In simple terms this is like the Sun getting a boost of high vibrational light from the other side of the galaxy (so to speak).
What is the significance of Arcturus?

Arcturus name means ‘guardian of the bear’. The bear in question is Ursa Major, a constellation which lies from 23’ degrees of Cancer to 26’ of Virgo. Ursa Major is quite an auspicious constellation featured in many myths, and in esoteric wisdom. It’s seen by some as the entry point of light into our galaxy, and its seven major (visible) stars represent the 7 rays or 7 aspects of consciousness in the universe. Arcturus is seen to help balance this energy as it enters, and help us worth through the upgrades in consciousness that come in this portal.
What is the Arcturian Alignment about?
The Arcturian Alignment occurs roughly between the 14th to the 20th of October each year, while the sun is within the orb of Arcturus. Some of us may feel a strong pull or affinity towards Arcturus, which can in some cases be the result of having spent previous lifetimes within the Arcturian system (aka being an Arcturian Starseed), and for others we may have members of our higher council from this part of the galaxy. It can be interesting to note as the Alignment swings around what the energy brings out in your and how it attunes you. Regardless of whether you feel you have a strong connection with this star, it’s energy is one that is here to help life us towards higher levels of consciousness. It encourages us to balance our Karma - in particular the karma we may have accumulated through intimate relationships and partnerships - the ultimate of which is the intimacy that exists between our body and soul.
The Arcuturian alignment is a time when darkness is being called to transform into light. As there are surges of light in our life and galaxy this can often feel strange to our physical bodies as they adjust. You might think of it like a sacred cosmic fire being lit within you, one that is almost like a great cosmic eraser opening you to greater levels of love. This is all a way of balancing the energy within us, to dissolve what we need to let go of (namely ignorance around our nature or who we are), and invites us to forgive and transmute that which is no longer of service to us from a place of love. Use the energy of the alignment to balance your inner energy, call in your higher guides to help you do this and step into a place of deeper love and union within yourself.
