The 'Gandanta' or karmic knot is something unique to Vedic Astrology and marks a point in our chart where we are called into our soul's evolution - which can bring a whole lot of processing as well as infinite insight + inner liberation. It's where a planet transitions from the latter degrees of a 'water' sign (Pisces, Cancer or Scorpio) to the initial degrees of a 'fire' sign (Aries, Leo or Sagittarius). When it's active it can feel like you are shedding your skin and being called to let go of something with deep past life origins.
