Deep Dive: Astrology Predictions for Uranus in Taurus (March 2025 - April 2032)
Uranus moves permanently into Taurus in SIDEREAL ASTROLOGY on the 19th of March until the 20th of April 2032.
WHAT DOES URANUS IN TAURUS MEAN?
Uranus is known as the great awakener, the disruptor and the innovator. It’s an energy that can bring massive progression, and out of the blue ideas, insights and technologies wherever it goes. It’s also a planet associated with revolution, and the focus of this revolution takes place in which ever sign it enters. Generally, it manifests as events which are set off by tension with the signs ruler or Moon/Eclipses that are aspecting it. So although we can feel it building, it doesn’t tend to it until the planets meet it with energy. Now, Taurus is the Great Bull of Heaven, taurus is a feminine, passive energy and it’s fixed. That said it’s also an earth sign so we’re dealing with tangibility, things we need to make work with our hands and that have an application in the real world. Taurus rules the material realm and so shows up as finances, possessions, material goods, relationships and value/ values that we express. As a fixed sign it is not necessarily a friend of Uranus, which tends to create earthquakes and literally shake the ground when it’s in Taurus energy.
DETERMINATION MEETS INSPIRATION
It’s important to note that, Taurus strives for balance, and harmony – it’s not an aggressive sign. It rules artists, poets, lovers, and devotional. It’s a sign that once it has it’s mind on something it sticks to it. So we’ll be dealing with fixed ideas, as well as creating the future in a really practical lasting way. This can mean there is some inner stubbornness to change, and resistance – which can only shift through unexpected events (which Uranus brings). Added to that once you’re set in a new direction you’ll run with it.
Taurus is a sign that squares Aquarius (which Uranus Rules in Western Astrology) creating tension between the two which wants to be resolved. Aquarius is an air sign, which is detached but interested in rebellion, and big ideas…while Taurus is the one that carries out the work, and doesn’t always look the horizon to actually see if it’s heading the right way. So we have the determination of Taurus (which is driven by comfort, luxury and beauty) meet the inspiration of Uranus (which is driven by breaking convention, being visionary).

THINGS CAN FEEL UNSTEADY WHILE VENUS IS RETROGRADE
There is the potential that this move of Uranus into Taurus can create some upset particularly while Venus (the ruler of Taurus) is retrograde until the 14th of April. This makes her stronger, and it can bring up things that have been hidden. Here’s what could manifest:
Sudden shifts in stock markets, in currency, and also in ‘traditional’ values – you can find that these start to truly crumble. What is fixed and stable has to fundamentally change. That said, generally Uranus in Taurus is a time which is good for the material realm, for acquisition and for markets.
Funky energy around electricity, power + solar flares as Uranus rules these energies. You might see strange black outs in major cities or electricity being cut.
Finally, Taurus is also about connection to the material plan in terms of the earth – so we can find that there is a big focus on the value of earth.
That said, when these two work in harmony it’s like a visionary meeting someone who can actually implement that energy. Taurus has the tenacity to see something through, but the initial disturbance is what brings stress. So just be aware of that in your life. You can see where this will be by looking up your chart in Sidereal and looking at the house it will be going through. Finally Uranus is a collective or transpersonal planet – so it effects culture, it has a ripple effect which transforms groups – not just individuals.
WHO WILL THIS MOST EFFECT?
Uranus is a transpersonal (or collective) planet, so this shift will affect all of us in varying ways. There will be countries that are more effected because of the placement of Uranus in their chart (see below), but in terms of the personal this is a big energy if you have fixed signs in your chart so think Taurus, Leo, Aquarius or Scorpio. If you know your chart (and remember I’m using Sidereal so you’ll need to use that setting when looking it up) look at what planets you have sitting in these signs – particularly the first 10’ as these are the ones that will be immediately impacted.
You can find that there is a call for you to progress in these areas of your life, that unexpected events create immense shifts to help you open up to new avenues ideas etc. Also look at the house Uranus is entering, and take note, as this is the house where you can find you’re starting to look for more alternative ways of approaching life, where you are being called to liberate yourself, where you need to think bigger maybe let go of traditional values.
PREDICTIONS FOR URANUS IN TAURUS:
To understand this let’s look at the last 2 times it has spent time in this sign from the 31st of May 1940 – 18th of April 1948 and 29th of May, 1856 -14th of April 1864. As well as the little sneak peak of we got from 1st of June 2024 – 12th of December 2024 when Uranus made a little visit into Taurus before returning + staying there this year. Within each of these I have put some predictions as to what is coming…
Here’s what we’re seeing and may come to pass…
1.RISE + DECLINE OF FASCISM AND CONFLICT FOR EQUAL RIGHTS
Every time Uranus has been in Taurus, there is a war or conflict of some sorts focused on securing equal rights and also on dispelling fascism or dictatorship (interesting right!). It seems as though the rise in fascism is driven by other planets as well as Uranus’ time in Pisces + Aries – the signs of idealism and authoritarianism when it’s unhealed.
Uranus in Taurus tends to affect the US (as it’s Uranus is in Taurus), however this coming ingress we can expect this to also effect Israel who was only established during its last tour of Taurus (and therefore has a natal Uranus in Taurus), as well as Japan (who has Uranus in Taurus). Other countries with their Uranus in Taurus that have the potential to be directly affected by its energy are Lebanon, Italy and Sri Lanka. This just means that this can be where the world events that encapsulate Uranus in Taurus are felt.
So last time Uranus was in Taurus was 31st of May 1940 – 18th of April 1948 it’s important to note that World War 2 was already underway. The movement of Uranus into Taurus saw Germany invade France (WW2), the Pearl Harbour Attacks (which forced the US enter the War) and D-Day (a major turning point in the War). During this time there was also the fall of Berlin and the death of Adolf Hitler + Mussolini. As well as the start of the Cold War (targeting Communism). You could sum up this movement as a means to end the holocaust (genocide), to move out of the way fascist leaders and to establish peace (through necessary conflict).
In other parts of the world India + Pakistan gained independence from Britain’s rule and there was the creation of the United Nations as a means to bring greater peace to the world (which we’ll talk more about below when we get to humanitarian bodies). It’s also worth noting that during this time there is the first Arab-Israeli war as the state of Israel was established during this time (making Israel, just like the US, have its Uranus in Taurus).
If we go back a little further we see similar patterns….
The time before last (when Uranus was in Taurus) was from the 29th of May, 1856 until the 14th of April 1864. During this period there was conflict which was born out of the need for societal change – this is the type of war or protest which is grassroots and about creating progressive change. For example we had the American Civil War (fought over the issue of slavery), The Indian Rebellion (against British Rule), Unification of Italy (, Emancipation of Russian Serfs (freeing 23 million people) and the creation of the Red Cross. Essentially this is a time where human rights are recognised, and equality is demanded even if that means conflict must ensue.
What we saw in June – December 2024 (when Uranus was in Taurus)?
It’s like there was the open understanding that what is happening in supposed democracies is actually fascism (where a countries power is held by a small group or one ruler). This was seen on both sides with the US election taking place, US Congressman George Santos pleading guilty to wire fraud and identity theft, South Korea’s President imposing Martial Law (and being impeached) accusing his opposition of trying to overthrow free democracy, Putin signs a decree to make it easier for foreign nationals who oppose neoliberalism to seek asylum in Russia, Protests against the genocide in Paris + Chicago (at the democratic convention) and worldwide. Interesting to note that during this period 80 countries had elections including the US. Also worth noting that this was a time when Ben + Jerry’s sued parent company Unilever for censoring their statement of supporting Gaza and the 3 daughters of Malcolm X file a $100m wrongful death suit agains the CIA, FBI and NYPD for their role in the assassination
What we might witness (2025 - 2032):
We’ve seen the slow rise in Fascism again, and I would expect that Uranus in Taurus will weed it out – though there will be conflict to do this (which we’ve already seen in the Middle East).
It supports conflict for the larger purpose of creating peace. Remembering that the heart of the conflicts we’ve discussed started with an agreesor be that imperialist or fascist. Finishing with the call for equality and that was also met with protests.
This can be a time of dismantling authoritarianism (brought by Uranus in Aries) and opening up to the idea that all human life has value.
Keep eyes open to the countries having their Uranus Returns – US, Italy, Israel, Japan, Lebanon and Sri Lanka.
2.CREATION OF HUMANITARIAN AID BODIES
Uranus in Taurus also (on the back of the conflict created) calls for the creation of new enduring systems to monitor peace. These two periods saw the creation of the Red Cross (1856-64) and then the United Nations (1940-48) both of which still stand today and live to serve the international community. Both created in response to the violence of its time. As Uranus enters Taurus this year permanently, this can also mean that these two (both with Uranus in Taurus) face a lot of heat and unexpected world events which can reshape them as Uranus enters Taurus. We’re already seeing hints of that with the Genocide in Gaza and US withdrawing itself from the UN human rights council.
What we saw in June – December 2024 (when Uranus was in Taurus)?
Between June and December we saw the US intensify it’s oversite of UN agencies receiving US funding. Placeing a lot of scrutency on UNICEF and the UN Refugee Agency – they asked them to fill in questionaries about their affiliation with Communism, Socialist or anti-American sentiments… there was also discussion of the US withdrawing from the UN.
What we might witness (2025 - 2032):
It feels like the UN will be under a lot of pressure but this won’t come about until mid-2027 (When it starts it’s Uranus Opposition).
We could see the US withdraw from it and in the process the establishment of a new body or way in which the UN runs
The establishment of a new peace body which is brought about on the back of a new conflict. Potentially driven by citizens or by a new world power – and not the US. I wouldn’t be surprised if the BRIC nations try to do this.
3.INNOVATION IN COMMUNICATION + ENERGY
Innovation and conflict tend to go hand in hand. As such these are periods of intense innovation that we then benefit from as Uranus progresses through the rest of the signs. This development tends to have a shock or unexpected value to it be that seeing what can’t be seen, explosive energy, and new sources of power. As well as the call to venture off planet which Uranus brings no matter where go goes.
During its last time in Uranus (31st of May 1940 – 18th of April 1948) there was the development of nuclear weapons (and the bombing of Hiroshima), the development of the first Electronic Computer, discovery of microwaves, development of long-range missiles (which we already got a sneak peak of last year when Uranus in Taurus saw the US give these to Ukraine), development of the US + USSR space programs and transistor was invested.
Once again if we look back again to 29th of May, 1856 until the 14th of April 1864 we can see similar patterns…During that particular period there was the completion of the first transatlantic telegraph cable, the invention of the internal combustion engine, the Origin of Species (which changed our view of evolution) was published by Charles Darwin, James Clerk Maxwell developed his Electromagnetic Theory which paved the way for radio waves, X-Rays, and modern wireless communication, the first successful underground railway was opened in London, and Louis Pasteur developed pasteurisation. That all said, because of the focus on conflict there was also the development of the Gatling Gun (which changed modern warfare as a rapid-fire weapon).
What we saw in June – December 2024 (when Uranus was in Taurus)?
China disrupted the AI tech space with the launch of DeepSeek the most accurate AI to date.
There was the convergence of AI with Genome editing technology and the development of new medical advances on the back of the Israel Genocide – with 3D printed prosthetics, Video Game Therapy.
The launch of the first wooden satellite by Japan.
Potential for life on Mars and discovery of a subsurface Ocean on Uranus’ Moon Miranda.
Space Exploration: China's Chang'e-6 spacecraft successfully landed on the far side of the Moon.
Nationwide Black-Out in Lebanon.
BMW recalls 720,000 vehicles for electrical issue.
What we might witness (2025 - 2032):
We can expect to see the world focus on new sources of energy (even if it feels like traditional oil businesses are currently going backwards), to potentially uncover new methods of power + communication (which are even more advanced than a phone), obviously advancements in military technology and with travel (including space travel).
This will also be a period of immense AI growth, and finding new applications for it.
4.FLOODS, EARTHQUAKES + VOLCANOS MAKE BIG NEWS
One way Uranus in Taurus is classically described is like an earthquake, flood or a volcano…it brings new land, shifts in the earth (which is Taurus) and new horizons. As such we always see a lot of news around earthquakes, volcanos and floods. This tends to be something we need to look at when Uranus is caught up aspecting a Moon or Eclipse – as this energy activates it on earth. This can manifest as things that unexpectedly hit particular cities. As an FYI in it’s brief interlude in Taurus last year we had Hurrican Helene and the unexpected flooding in South Eastern Spain.
5.OH AND ALIENS!
Aquarius and the planet Uranus are synonymous with breakthroughs and this includes off planetary life. So it’s no surprise that during Uranus’ last sojourn in Taurus we had the Roswell UFO incident where there was a crash of a space craft and a cover up by the US (for those of you interested this happened right at the end of Uranus’ run in Taurus just as it moved into Gemini (for a quick visit before it settled there for good in late April 1948) – sitting in the Vedic Lunar Mansion Mrigashira).
