Why the Venus Star Point Matters…
Since her retrograde journey in March-April 2025, Venus has been shining as the Morning Star — a phase associated with independence, rebirth, courage and self-discovery. This is a period in which she has carried the first light of the Sun (truth or the Soul (Atma)) into the day. As the Morning Star, she rises before the Sun, symbolising the part of Venus that seeks to understand herself first, illuminate personal truth and reclaim sovereignty.
On 7 January 2026, Venus completes this chapter and transitions into the Evening Star, beginning a new cycle of illumination, self-awareness and deeper relational wisdom. As the Evening Star, she appears after sunset and carries the last spark of the Sun as night descends. Here she is softer, reflective, magnetic and deeply intuitive. Note. She won’t rise or be visible as the evening star until the 17th of February.
Continuing her Lineage…
Ancient Civilisations that followed the Atlantean Lineage (like Egypt, Sumeria, Mesopotamia and Mexico) worshiped Venus and used her as the central feature of their calendars. They were inspired by her creative power over astral forces. They marked her movements and called her after their Mother Goddess – Inanna, Isis or Ishtar. As we honour her during this meditation, we also recognise this lineage and the ancestors that guide + protect it.
This Year the Cosmic Energy is Unique
This particular Venus Star Point will see Venus not just join the Sun but her counterpart Mars as they move into alignment in the ancient Vedic Nakshatra Purva Ashadha (ruled by Venus and the great mother goddess of cosmic waters Apas). In this placement we are being called to find our own light as well as explore the creativity intelligence within that can no longer be suppressed under this cosmic energy.
