What is it?
On the Full Moon day 1st-2nd of April, we celebrate Hanumān (the monkey-headed gods) Birthday. Hanumān is often pointed to as the ultimate Bhakta, and teaches us the importance of divine love, courage and faith (the type that can allow you to fly over the seas of illusion – just as Hanumān did in the Rāmāyaṇa).
The worship of Hanumān plays an important part in Astrology, as he is known as the only deity which Saturn (Śani) favours and will bow down to. In fact it is said that Śani Dev (Saturn) will never trouble the devotees of Lord Hanumān. Sometimes in temples you see Saturn pictured under the feet of Hanumān as an expression of this energy.
As such worshiping, honouring and singing to Lord Hanumān – from a place of love, respect, and connection - is a profound spiritual practice to work with your own personal karmas and astrology particularly when in a Saturn Mahadasha, Sāḍhe-Sātī, as well as to help us strengthen our own love for the divine – within and all around us.
What will you learn?
In 90 minutes together, facilitated by Mantra Teacher Siddhi Shakti and Astrologer Pippa Kate, we will step into sacred connected circle to learn of the mythology of Hanumān both his relationship to ‘god’ (Ram) and to Śani Dev (Saturn). We’ll explore his profound wisdom, and then feel it’s energy through mantra (sacred sound) as a means to activate his loving devotion from within.
You’ll walk away from this circle, with an understanding of this deities role, and with a strong spiritual sadhana you can use in your daily life or to work with particularly difficult Saturn transits.

For everyone. You don’t need to have any astrological understanding or background. The only prerequisite is curiosity and even an inner calling to explore your connection to Hanumān.
