THE ONLY QUEST...
This Full Moon marks the completion of the cycle, which has taken you from the material to the metaphysical which started with the Gemini New Moon on the 6/7th of June. You can find that the last 6 months has had you asking the bigger questions like 'why are you here?' as well as calling for you to explore both the external world (through study + travel) as well as to slowly be called within. In a way this has been a lunar cycle where you have been letting of materialistic goals, as you slowly realise that the only thing that can ever satisfy you is within. You can find that this Moon expands your consciousness and your mind to truely embody this knowing, and gives you the gift of seeing how you can lead your life from this place.
ALIGNED WITH JUPITER
As this Full Moon at 23'52 Gemini will fall in line with Jupiter Rx, it calls for you to be pushed beyond the limitations of your mind. Jupiter represents the flow of inner wisdom and the Guru that lives within. You can find that this means that you're pushed from focusing on the details of life, and on the small things that have been frustrating you - as you start to entertain the bigger picture, and maybe even come to see that the things that annoy you are actually playing a role to liberate you. You can also find that this is a deeply spiritual moon, where the mind wants to naturally go within instead of it's usual search outside of yourself. Don't be suprised if what manifests with this Moon isn't necessary physical but rather shows up as a deep spiritual calling or even desire for the metaphysical. This is the perfect moon for sadhana or a new spiritual practice to help you continue to cultivate that inner peace. THE DUALITY OF GEMINI
Traditionally Gemini is associated with the small mind, it's gift is it's ability to collect information and disperse it through communication. If we go a little deeper thought the heart of Gemini is actually about duality, as portrayed through it's constellation the Twins - Pollux + Castor. One twin which is immortal and the other which is not. This is an asterism that teaches us the truth of this life, we are both moral (human) and immortal (spirit). Added to that to see yourself as just one of these things is to catch yourself in the trap of duality. As the Sun in Sagittarius casts it's philosphical light upon this Moon, it illuminates the deeper truths of this sign. This is a Moon that calls for us to find what 'lasts', what is true, and where you are both moral + immortal (maybe even something beyond that label). Remembering that Gemini Twins are warriors, so you can find that this deep searching energy is activated within you. Just remember the real search is only within, not outside.
BE WARY OF YOUR INTUITION
This Full Moon will fall in tension (square) with both Neptune and the asteroid Parvati in Neptune. Now, Neptune when he's active naturally heightens our sensitivity to the astral realm, and underneath that there can be a deep longer to transcend this world. However, as he is sitting in challenge there are two things to be wary of. The first, you can find that the stories the intuition spins with this Full Moon are infused with projections of the ego. Added to that there is a big chance you're not seeing the full picture if you're using this sense of perceive the external world. So hold off making judgement or thinking you 'understand'. Secondly, Neptune's desire to transcend can manifest in some unhealed ways like addiction (of any kind that allows you to 'forget' the world) and even bypassing what is within you that is begging to be felt. True spirituality is the merging of the human and the spirit. It is not killing or forgetting the ego, but making a home for it in the heart. The best way to use this tension is to shift your focus to yourself, and pay attention to what is within (you can imagine that as going into your own heart).
THE SEARCH IS OVER:
In Vedic Astrology, this Full Moon falls in Mrigashira Nakshatra, a house associated with the never ending search of the mind. You might have noticed within you that unquenchable thirst for information (so you can feel in control) or for spiritual truths (so you can feel safe)...all of which will ultimately need to be abandoned. As this is a Full Moon to realise that sometimes we need to just stop searching and realise that what we need is right in front of us - not overseas, in an ashram or with a spiritual teacher - but within. Ruled by Soma, this is a mansion that calls for you to realise what has been hidden from you - your immortality. This is something the ego goes searching for outside of itself through the senses (and manifests as a fear of death)...and yet lies within but beyond the perception of waking consciousness. The highest calling of this Moon is Moksha - Liberation. As such this can be a Moon where you let go, you give something up and release the need to know. All of which reminds me of this quote: 'Don't ever think that the Buddha has something to teach. If someone says that the Buddha has anything to teach, he is slandering the Buddha; he doesn't understand what the Buddha is teaching. In teaching the truth, there is no truth that can be taught' - Diamond Sutra.
