It's time to find and follow your North Star

TAKE A STEP FORWARD EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW WHERE IT WILL LEAD

The Gemini New Moon is one calling for awakening, and for you to focus on taking one step at a time towards your destiny...even if you have no idea where it is you are heading. In fact the less of an idea you have the more you are being called to place your faith in the universe, and come to an inner knowing that this is perfect for what you are here to do in this life. This particular New Moon is setting you off on a new 18 month course. This is the time to co-create with the universe and allow it to merge it's intelligence with your own. In the process it is cracking you open to trust where it is leading you. This will become more obvious as the Gemini Full Moon on the 15th of December, 2024 peaks. That might seem a while away, and as such you'll have some pretty significant hints happening around the 26th-28th of November this year.

THE NEW MOON OPENING YOU UP TO YOUR NORTH STAR

Although not technically directly aligned, the New Moon will be in the vicinity of the fixed star Polaris. Polaris is the north star and part of the constellation Ursa Minor. Unlike other stars this one sits on the North Pole (so you can only see it in the Northern Hemisphere) and doesn't seem to move (at least to our eyes). This star is one of guidance, it calls for you to look up to the horizon in front of you. To focus on a bigger vision. It can feel like there is something really big calling you forth (maybe you sense that this has been building in you for a year or so) and no matter how hard you try to work out what it is the universe simply wants you to take a step towards it. There's this funny thing that happens when you do, and that is the universe rushes towards you to meet you where you are. This Moon is calling for you to accept a new path, to be led into the unknown and have faith this is for your highest good.

MESSAGES FROM THE UNIVERSE ARE GETTING LOUDER

One thing is assured when there is a Gemini New Moon and that is it's time to turn the volume up on the messages from the universe. Gemini is the sign of communication and if we peel back a layer, it's actually the sign where you come to realise that you are a channel for the divine's will. As such this New Moon can have you feeling like the nudges from the universe that are leading you towards your North Star are just that little bit louder. Know that the universe speaks through the people around you - not necessarily their opinions but the things they say that come out-of-the-blue or don't fit their 'character' - rest assured that's the universe speaking directly to you. Do pay attention and allow your inner detective to help you navigate what is coming up.

THIS IS THE SECOND MOON WITH JUNO AT PLAY

This is the 2nd of 3 moons that will be have the asteroid Juno lending her power to it. As such you might find that this energy of loyalty and sovereignty is building upon a much bigger shift you have been experiencing. The universe is asking for you to call back your power from the people, times and places where you have knowingly and unknowingly given it away. In fact this is a much needed energy to balance Gemini's tendency to give too much weight to other's opinions. Juno is here to let you know that the path ahead is yours to walk alone, you can have people who walk beside you but they cannot walk it for you. It's time for you to get comfortable with being in your power, standing in a greater sense of equality and really feeling when something is or isn't right for you (and not rationalising that away in the mind).

SHIVA IS ALSO HERE TO HELP RELEASE PENT UP ENERGY

The other big figure playing with this New Moon is the asteroid Shiva. Shiva is the destroyer in a physical sense, but in a metaphysical sense he destroys the veils of ignorance that keep you feeling separate from the world. As Gemini is naturally an energy that lives between worlds + is gifted with the ability to travel between realms - Shiva helps make this journey easier. This can manifest as a deep sense of release around the New Moon, in the physical body, and energetically it can show up as you starting to undertand the bigger picture of what is going on within + around you. Maybe you will start to see how the path that is waiting for you to walk it is a result of lifetimes of grace + karma (not a random event in this lifetime).

THIS NEW MOON FALLS IN THE HOUSE OF THE SEEKER

In Vedic Astrology this Moon falls in the Lunar Mansion known as Mrigashira. This offers you the energy of the spiritual seeker and warrior. There is an energy that can help purify you of unnecessary thoughts and even of Samskaras (karmic mental imprints) that are ready to be released. This Lunar Mansion is ruled by Mars (the God of War) and Soma (the God of the Moon). As such it can have you seeing that the purpose of this New Moon is not about an external journey to your purpose, but rather a call for you to venture inwards and find fulfilment the only place it can be found - within. The deepest calling of this lunar mansion is Moksha, that is liberation or enlightenment but this can only come about through deep transformation and burning through of all that keeps you from this. That is to say, the coming 18 months will be a deeply personal journey and can bring up this karma energy to be released back to mother nature and in the process help you purify + realise more of your divinity.
